About this lil' ol' CAS Coordinator

"Curiosity asks 'what if?'  CAS (and a little courage) says 'let's find out.'"

Andréa Borges is an educator, school programs designer, and proud overthinker who believes learning should be real, visible, and meaningful.

As a CAS Coordinator, she works at the intersection of experiential learning, student agency, and systems design, creating opportunities that allow students to lead, build, and create impact beyond the classroom.

Known for building things from scratch (and occasionally overthinking them into existence), she has developed student-led programs, school-wide club culture (where there was none), community impact projects, student-led TEDxYouth event and large-scale initiatives that live beyond a single school year. Her approach combines strategic thinking with a strong belief in student ownership: the best ideas don’t come from giving answers, but from asking the right questions. Often caught saying "Curiosity asks 'what if?' CAS (and a little courage)  says 'let’s find out'".

She’s also a mom, which means she brings equal parts structure, empathy, negotiation skills, and snack-based problem solving into everything she does. Also: she can organize a school-wide initiative and find a missing water bottle or lunch box (it's always right in front of him!!) within the same hour. Priorities.

A little neurospicy, highly curious, and always asking “but what’s the point of this?”, Andréa is currently exploring how data, dashboards, and digital platforms can make learning journeys more visible... and a lot more intentional.
